The Seattle SuperSonics Oklahoma City Thunder were the most improved team in the league this year improving from third-worst in the league last year, to a 50-32 this season, somehow landing them the eight and final seed in the Western Conference Playoffs.
In the process Kevin Durant became the youngest player to ever lead the league in scoring, and won me a bet with my roommate made prior to the season that Durant would average more than Lebron. His league-leading 30.1 points-per-game average helped the Sonics Thunder reach their first 50-win season since they relocated to Oklahoma City.
Durant has improved drastically over the his brief three-year career in the NBA. He has increased his scoring average by five point every year, and this past season also led the Thunder in rebounds and steals.
